Welcome to the Virginia School Counselor Association Conference 2006!
As professional school counselors we are challenged everyday to Be the Difference in our students’ lives through our counseling programs, our leadership, our use of data and our advocacy for students. We are the professionals in the school building most in touch with the academic, career, personal, and social needs of our students. In collaboration with organizations such as the American School Counselor Association and the College Board National Office of School Counselor Advocacy, the Virginia School Counselor Association is providing leadership to all school counselors in Virginia.
The focus of this year’s conference is to provide school counselors with the tools needed to continue to grow in their ability to help students gain academic, career and personal skills, and prepare them to meet the challenges of the 21st Century.
