Trauma-Informed Clinical Skills Workshop

The Peninsula Counselors Association is excited to announce a Professional Development event focused on trauma-informed therapeutic skills! We are proud to feature Karen Grabowski as our guest speaker.


Cost of Attendance (Please have cash or check ready when you check in)

$20 for non-members/ $15 for Student non-members & VCA members/ $10 for VCA student members

Pizza will be provided for lunch.

Karen Grabowski is a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and a Certified Adoption Competent Mental Health Provider. Karen is a graduate of the William and Mary Community Counseling Program. Since graduating in 2011 Karen has been providing or supervising Intensive In-home Therapy services at the Mid-dle Peninsula Northern Neck Community Services Board. Karen has been with the CSB for over six years and has prior experience performing outpatient work, as well as three years' experience as a Counselor/Teacher at a residential facility for 11-17 year old at-risk boys. Karen has conducted local and state-level training, including internal clinical trainings for all mental health staff at the CSB, local trauma-informed school trainings, local foster care trainings for the Department of Social Services (DSS), and statewide trainings on High Fidelity Wraparound Services.
