The 2nd Annual Preventing Generations of Incarceration Conference hosted by the Virginia Alliance for School Counselors (VASC), a division of the Virginia Counselors Association, & FailSafe-ERA. On Thursday, March 26th from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM, we will be offering breakout sessions and fantastic keynote speakers. More information is provided below!


Morning Keynote: Dr. Natasha Pratt-Harris, Associate Professor at Morgan State University

Dr. Pratt-Harris’ work focuses on the wrongful conviction of Black men and Criminal Justice Reform.


Lunch Keynote: Dr. Connie Jones, Assistant Professor at UNC Greensboro

Dr. Jones’ work focuses on addictions and reentry counseling and multiculturalism. She is the immediate past president of the International Association of Addictions and Offenders Counselors.
